NEEDS had participated in The Twenty First Annual Science and Mathematics Educators Conference (SMEC 21), on March 9th, 2019, which was held in the American University of Beirut (AUB). A theme that is being highlighted in this conference is "Teaching and Learning Science and Mathematics in Multilingual Classrooms".
NEEDS Booth was visited by many schools directors, teachers and practitioners in the field of Education and Advanced Technology, as well as Consultants and Technology Providers from various academic institutions and private sectors.
SMEC 21 conference featured plenary lectures, research presentations and interactive workshops relevant to math and science educators. NEEDS was selected for presenting an interactive workshop “A New Interactive Digital e-Learning Tool to Promote Grade 9 & Grade 12 Student Understanding of Math & Physics”. A new approach method was presented by NEEDS in collaboration with Ataya Consulting to enhance teaching of curricular content for classes with official exams. The workshop demonstrated an interactive session rich with presentation, live demo, interactive application and competition. Teachers and participants were engaged with LEARNIT innovative solution aiming towards transforming learners into knowledge seekers and researchers in a self-learning pace.
