NEEDS had participated in the Saudi Arabia Smart Grid 2015 | Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy Exhibition, in conjunction with the main Technical Sessions of Saudi Arabia Smart Grid (SASG 2015), on December 7th - 9th, 2015 in Jeddah – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Under the patronage of the Saudi Ministry of Water and Electricity represented by Dr. Saleh al-Awaji, an undersecretary in the kingdom's Ministry of Water and Electricity, the SASG conference and exhibition are considered one of the major congregations for Smart Grid, Smart Meters, Sustainable Energy and Technology Industry players from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad.

NEEDS Booth displayed in this event, the company smart milestone history, extending from the Digital Utility Concept to the Smart Utility Concept. Our team exposed to the visitors the company’s involvement in the Smart Meters and Smart Grid technologies, covering all aspects of NEEDS services and expertise.

The projected demonstrations in the booth summarized the company’s on-going practice, the specifics of the smart metering project deployment, smart grid development in the area and professional experience in Smart Grid and Sustainable Energy. Highlight was on the innovative initiatives prepared by NEEDS team on smart metering testing, procedures and platform requirements.

NEEDS Booth was visited by Senior Management from SEC – Mr. Mansour Al Qahtani, Mr. Abdullah Al Bishi, and Mr. BandarAL Harbi – Aramco, STC, Al Jihaz and by other local and international officials, utilities stakeholders, decision makers, industry professionals, delegate companies, professional experts, researcher/academic organizations, and practitioners in the field of Smart Grids, Green Information and Communication Technologies, Sustainability, Energy Aware Systems and Technologies, coming from various countries like KSA, UAE, Egypt, USA, Italy, Spain and other countries.
