CRDP Launching Event “Quality in Training: A journey and a frame of reference”, May 08, 2019

NEEDS had participated in the launching event of "the mission to enhance the quality of training" organized by the Center for Educational Research and Development – CRDP and titled “Quality in Training: A journey and a frame of reference” on May 08, 2019. The event was held in The CRDP Printing Press in Sin El Fil – Lebanon, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education & Higher Education, Mr. Akram Chehayeb, and with the support of UNICEF, the government of Canada, and the European Union.

NEEDS Digital Services Department Manager, Mr. Daoud El Gharib, was invited as a speaker to address the merit of the Training Management System (TMS) project which is an innovative initiative launched by CRDP in partnership with UNICEF to attain the needs of the Pre-service and In-service Training Bureau (PITB).



During her oration, Dr. Nada Oweijane, the CRDP President, addressed the professional collaboration and coordination with NEEDS company for launching and developing an integrated digital management system for training “Training Management System – TMS”. Dr. Oweijane elaborated more on the system usability via the Internet to facilitate and handle all the training management stages comprising the planning, designing, and approving training modules, implementing remote and distance training, registering trainees, providing training resources and references, tracking trainees progress, executing Post-Training performance assessment, populating trainee portfolio, and sharing best practices and portfolio artifacts with the educational stakeholders. And thereto, enabling the continuous training to observe and document the educational needs, building competencies, evaluating the real situation, adopting quality approach, and enhancing the education in Lebanon.
