NEEDS had participated in the “Career and Specialization Forum” in Central College Jounieh (CCJ) that was held on March 31st, 2017 in Jounieh, Lebanon.
Under the patronage of engineer Nehmet Frem, and headed by Father Antoine Salameh (CCJ Rector) and Father Wadih Skayem (CCJ Director), the school hosted the Forum, where CCJ noble mission is to develop active, positive, productive, cultured, responsible and intellectual young men and women who can creatively build their own future in a highly interconnected world and successfully contribute in making the world a better place to live.
In this event, NEEDS Booth displayed the company digital transformation history, extending from the Digital Utility Concept to the Smart Energy Saving SMARTi Solution, to the digital transformation of traditional classroom learning practices into more robust, customizable and smart learning experiences using advanced technologies, via SOrCE platform. The projected demonstrations in the booth included, among others, SOrCE storyboard, and the video detailing SOrCE implementation in CCJ. During the event, NEEDS had organized a competition using SOrCE platform in its booth, where students played and enjoyed the competition, showing their capabilities in solving tricky analytical problems. The competition winner was awarded a tablet offered by NEEDS. In addition, NEEDS made during the event an interview with Radio Liban Culture, that was covering the Forum details.
NEEDS Booth was visited by several participating schools directors, teachers, students, educational institutions, academic bodies, as well as parents, interested in the field of Digital transformation in the Education and Academic systems.
Noteworthy that CCJ and NEEDS had entered into an agreement for developing a successful education environment at school to improve the efficacy of teaching and learning to align with the desired 21stcentury learning skills within a rapid and changing interconnected world, and this all by using SOrCE platform (www.sorce.online).
