The study evaluated the situation of the Lebanese Electrical Power Sector comparing it to international figures. Based on a comprehensive, technical and financial analysis, the study proposed different restructuring models, applied in developing countries as well as in industrialized ones. The restructuring models were analysed closely to reveal the most appropriate approach in Lebanon taking into consideration all the technical, financial and social factors
